He told the fascinating story of how he first became interested in science and Creationism, and gave Resound the update on the Answers In Genesis ministry. MUSIC MINUTE WITH NEWSBOYS

After leading the band for over 20 years with his Aussie vocals, Peter Furler has exited the scene and Michael Tait, former member of dc Talk, has not only provided Newsboys with new vocals, but a new sound altogether. Furler and Tait are very different vocally. This new version of Newsboys is definitely juggling a mix of styles, from power pop to worship to rock and even a little bit of urban flavor. Nothing like "Shine" or "Breakfast." But even with this dynamic change of pace, the band has already hit number one on the charts with the title track of Born Again. Born Again was just released in mid-July and is Newsboys’ first album to feature Tait on vocals. More upcoming new music for the Newsboys will be their first ever Christmas album: Christmas! A Newsboys Holiday which will be released on October 12th. To help promote this album, they will be teaming up with Newsong on their nationwide "Very Merry Christmas Tour" that will cover 20+ cities. The tour kicks off in North Carolina on November 27th.
